XT3 – Contained all around

Financially speaking, the new primary and middle school at the SteinPark site is the largest building construction project in Freising’s history. From September 2022, a total of 1,100 students will be taught in 44 classrooms and specialist workshops at the site near Munich.  An impressive new building with a façade totalling 130 metres in length. The numerous large windows ensure plenty of fresh air and a lovely view of the surrounding greenery. The ceiling-to-floor windows are protected with our X-TEND stainless steel mesh. Our new frame system FRAMEWORKX XT3 was powder-coated in the appropriate colours resulting in both a safety and design element at the same time.

FRAMEWORKX – UNCOMPLICATED UND SIMPLE

Carl Stahl Architecture offers system solutions for uncomplicated procurement and simple installation. FRAMEWORKX XT3 stands for ready-welded frames made of stainless steel slotted profiles, which hold our X-TEND stainless steel mesh inside. In a relatively simple procedure, these can be mounted on the balustrade structure, whether in existing properties or new build. Unlike with XT2 frame systems, the mesh in XT3 does not have to be tied to the frame all round so square and rectangular profile geometries can also be used here. This means the XT3 frame system perfectly suits modern architecture, but any other style of building can also be provided with harmonious railing infill in the various frame profile geometries available with XT3 frames.

FRAMEWORKX COLORS – BRINGS COLOR INTO THE PLAY

Alongside the classic stainless steel surface, the system is also available in virtually any RAL shade. You have the choice between having just the frame colour-coated or the frame together with the mesh. Furthermore, regardless of the frame colour, you can also just have the mesh installed in the X-TEND COLOURS. In the new building of the SteinPark schools, a total of 250 XT3 frames were installed in two different colours.
